Ready. Completely.
“The job you'll do in ten years probably doesn't exist yet.".
The challenge
AI is reshaping graduate recruitment in Ireland. Students and their parents are questioning the value of a degree, and employers want people who can adapt, think critically and communicate clearly, not just hold a qualification. DBS needed a positioning that answered that shift directly, and a brand platform true to the college and strong enough to carry their ambitions across every course and audience it serves.
The thinking
We spoke to people across DBS before writing a word of brand copy, understanding what they do, the supports already in place, and where the education sector is heading over the next five years. The idea that kept coming back was the gap between being qualified and being ready. A degree makes you qualified. Being ready needs practitioner-led teaching, courses shaped directly by industry, and a support system built around real student life.
That became Ready. Completely, DBS's new strategic positioning, built across four dimensions: knowledge, career, future and human readiness. It's designed to do more than sit in a brand guideline. It gives DBS a platform built to grow with the college's domestic and international ambitions.
